How to become a Pilot in India for FREE!
Most of you guys have dream of becoming a Pilot, but lacking of fund is big problem in your life, then you have come to a right place, where you can get the information related becoming a pilot in India for FREE of cost.
There are 2 ways of becoming a pilot in India for Free
1. Indian Air Force
India Air Force is a platform which provides candidate best flight training throughout the India for FREE. But the question arises how to Join IAF (Indian Air Force).
- To join IAF, you must have done +2 Class with Physics and Mathematics having more than 60% marks in each subject. Some people say Chemistry is also necessary, but actually it is not.
- After schooling, you have to do B.Tech/B.E or B.Sc with at-least 60% overall marks, but if you have done B.A or any other stream, you just don't worry, i let you know everything.
- Now, you need to prepare for exams. There are total 3 exams to join IAF
Exams:-
- NDA (National Defense Academy) for +2 Non medical students
- AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) for B.Tech/B.E or B.Sc students
- CDSE (Combined Defense Service Examination) for B.A or any stream but +2 non medical is required.
PABT/CPSS stands for Pilot Aptitude and Battery Test or Computerized Pilot Selection System.
This test further contains many more test which check your psychometric skills means up-to what extent your hands, legs and mind co-ordinated with each other. If you are FAIL in this test, you are not gonna get a second chance. This is one time test in whole life. This test also contains how to read Aircraft Instruments (Meters), if you want to get a clear picture, then the video is down.
This is the entire way, you can get inducted in India Air Force and become a pilot, after your SSC (Short Service Commission), you can leave the job and join Airlines. But if you don't want to be a part of IAF and directly wants to join Airlines as a Pilot then here comes the second way.
2. Private Airlines
To join the private airlines directly, you have to complete your pilot training. Don't know what does it consists of? Just See
- First of all you have to complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) which costs you around 8-9 lakhs.
- Second you have to complete CPL (Commercial Pilot License) which costs you around more 16 lakh rupees and after you done your 200 hours of flying.
- Third, you need to undergo Typing Rating, means you have to learn to fly an commercial airplane like Boeing B737, Airbus A320 etc which again cost you around 15-16 lakh rupees.
- And the total cost is around 40-45 lakhs. It is a conventional way of becoming a pilot.
And candidates who belongs to OBC category, they can avail 40-50% of this post matric scholarship and for rest of the money, they can take a loan.
